1) How do I purchase an original painting?
The shop is updated on a continual basis throughout the year, as I release several series of originals and prints throughout. Each one will be well advertised prior to release via my social media accounts and mailing list.
-
2) Do you teach workshops or classes?
I love to host painting workshops & classes in my studio! I will announce upcoming dates for painting workshops on social media and via my mailing list.
-
3) Can I commission a painting?
Yes! Knowing that a painting has a beautiful home waiting for it makes me very happy and it’s such a joyful aspect of working on commissions.

4) Should I frame my art?
I highly encourage you to frame your prints and works on paper! My paintings on canvas can be framed, but they also look beautiful unframed as I paint the edges of the canvas too.
Prints & works on paper look incredibly beautiful framed and framing helps to protect your artwork from wear and dust. I do not currently offer framing from my studio, but I do have a few suggestions!
If you would like a custom frame specifically tailored to your piece of art, I recommend that you select a local frame shop. They will probably have a great selection of quality frame and it’s local, so double win!
Another option is to go to a (local) art supply store. They usually have frames or framing options. Ikea, H&M Home, Loods 5, Xenos and loads of other stores also have a variety of nice frames for pieces at different budgets. You’ll probably also have great luck at thrift or vintage stores. I have found some beautiful and unique frames at such places. -
5) Can you tell me a little more about the quality of your art prints?
All reproductions in my shop are Giclee reproductions. They are created using a very fancy printer that uses a wide range of inks that are applied very finely and then cut by hand. They are printed on artist canvas and are often mistaken for originals!
The prints are very long lasting and can framed as they are, they can be matted or dry-mounted.
Just a note about displaying your prints: Please do not use tape (including washi tape) on the front of your new print. It will pull pigment from the canvas. -
6) Can I pick up my art at the studio?
Absolutely! You are very welcome to come and pick up your original artwork at my studio in Amersfoort (the Netherlands). Please send me an email at BethanyKristineArt@gmail.com and we can set a date (just click on the button to plan that date). And the shipping costs will be refunded to you if you do a studio pick up.
Please note that my studio hours are rather limited due to my chronic illness, but we can usually make it work. Plus it’s always very special to deliver the painting to you in person, so it’s such a wonderful moment to savor and take our time for.
