We live in an American high-rise apartment where wall space is limited. We have to consider carefully what we put on these walls. When we reviewed Ms. Hollander’s modern paintings online, many looked like a fit for us. There were a variety of sizes and dominant colors available. We selected a couple of paintings stretching themes horizontally in blue and black with accents in gold. When the sun reaches in from our balcony windows those gold accents gleam like lightning in a storm. What I love about Bethany’s work is that her pieces aren’t only beautiful eye catchers for your space, but that each piece has an important underlying message. To me that means a decorated space, but also daily, important, positive reminders when I look at the artwork. And not to mention how talented she is, which results in paintings with gorgeous textures and unique color combinations that get me every time.
